It is with great JOY that we introduce to our son!
Benji John Scott
Benji meaning son of the right hand, and John after Anna’s Dad.
He was born 6 December, 3.5 kg and 52 cm’s long. He arrived right on his due date, 1 hour after his mama was admitted to the clinic! He is absolute perfection – we still can’t believe we get to be his parents!
We had a special exchange with his grandparents before taking him home when he was 24 hours old. They extended their blessing and expressed their wishes for Benji and shared about his family background. It was a moment we will never forget, and an answer to prayer to be able to share with him about his bio family.
We have been in a love bubble since he came home, we have taken the week to get to know him and adjust to our new life. He has been very gracious to us as we fumble our way through learning to care for a newborn!
The adoption process is underway and expected to take up to 12 months. We would love your prayer as we go through all the steps with our lawyer and child welfare. We have a bit of a journey ahead to get everything finalised.
Thank you so much for your prayer and support!! It’s hard to put into words all that we are feeling right now, we are overwhelmed by God’s goodness and faithfulness.
